Carfrae Farm is home to a flock of lovely Hebridean sheep belonging to Liz. Each year, the sheep have their heavy fleeces sheared in the summer to keep them healthy. The fleeces are then turned into throws using a technique called felting which Liz does by hand.
The beautiful throws, each one unique, are for sale in the farm shop, and you can meet the sheep in the field a few metres away. They are quite nosy so will probably spot you first!
Duffus, Matthew, Frodo, Ever Ready and Isambard have kindly given us their throws to sell in the shop.
